abstract = "The Ribeira Valley, localized between two important states of
Brazil: S{\~a}o Paulo and Paran{\'a}, presents approximately 80%
of the most preserved remnants of Atlantic Forest. Several physics
and histories factors allowed the conservation of these remnants
in this region. The topography, low soil fertility and water
regime stand out as great allies for preservation of natural
vegetation, in addition to the creation of Conservation Units.
However, studies have pointed deforestation history in those
protection areas. In order to relate the responsible processes for
land-use changes, sensing remote techniques have been used in
intention to investigate forest cover changes association. This
work claimed to identify and map regeneration and deforestation
areas in limits of Ribeira Valleys Conservation Units in temporal
serie from 1985 to 2017, comparing the results related to all
region. Considering the forests covers distribution in
Conservation Units, the forestall regeneration represented about
30% of total net gain, while the deforestation process was
approximately 22% from 1985 to 2017. With exception of APA
Quilombos do M{\'e}dio Ribeira, APA Serra do Mar, PE Turvo and
RDS Barreiro Anhemas, others Conservation Units had approximately
zero deforestation. On the other hand, those areas were the same
that forest gain calculated by regeneration were the biggest.
Concludes that the creation of Conservation Units is important
indeed to deforestation decrease range and favoring the forestal
preservation of biome, allied the inspection actions. RESUMO: O
Vale do Ribeira, situadoentredois importantes estados do Brasil:
S{\~a}o Paulo e Paran{\'a},det{\'e}m cerca de 80% dos
remanescentes cont{\'{\i}}nuos de Mata Atl{\^a}ntica.Diversos
fatores f{\'{\i}}sicos e hist{\'o}ricos permitiram a
conserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o desses remanescentes na regi{\~a}o.
Destacam-se entre eles a topografia, baixa fertilidade dos solos e
o regime h{\'{\i}}drico como substanciais para
preserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o da vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o natural,
al{\'e}m da cria{\c{c}}{\~a}o de Unidades de
Conserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o(UCs). Entretanto, estudos t{\^e}m
apontado hist{\'o}ricos de desmatamento em tais {\'a}reas.Em
reconhecimento {\`a} import{\^a}ncia de relacionar os processos
respons{\'a}veis pelas mudan{\c{c}}as do uso da terra,
utilizam-se t{\'e}cnicas de sensoriamento remoto no intuito de
investigar a associa{\c{c}}{\~a}o de mudan{\c{c}}as {\`a}
cobertura florestal. Este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar
e mapear as {\'a}reasde regenera{\c{c}}{\~a}o e desmatamento
nos limites das UCsdo Vale do Ribeira (SP/PR) em uma s{\'e}rie
temporal de 1985 a 2017, comparando os resultados em
rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} toda regi{\~a}o.Considerando-se a
distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o das coberturas florestais dentro das UCs,
a regenera{\c{c}}{\~a}o florestal representou cerca de 30% do
ganho l{\'{\i}}quido florestaltotal, enquanto o processo de
desmatamento foi em torno de 22%. Com exce{\c{c}}{\~a}o de
APAQuilombos do M{\'e}dio Ribeira, APASerra do Mar,PEdo Turvoe
RDSBarreiro Anhemas, as UCsapresentaram aproximadamente
desmatamento zero. Por outro lado,foram nessas mesmas{\'a}reas em
que se calcularamos maiores ganhos florestais
porregenera{\c{c}}{\~a}o.Conclui-se que a cria{\c{c}}{\~a}o
das UCs{\'e} sim importante para o decr{\'e}scimo das taxas
dedesmatamento e favorecimento da preserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o
florestal do bioma, aliada {\`a}s opera{\c{c}}{\~o}es de
fiscaliza{\c{c}}{\~a}o.",
